HOME SWEET HOME
A quick hello.
I'm back home. It's 21:36, I've showered, and I'm blogging on my bed from my phone because I'm tired, don't want to sit up, and my laptop's probably dead. Boba is lying next to me. :3
It was a long return-journey because we took an expensive detour back to Den Haag from Utrecht to pick up 3 articles of clothing I'd left at my cousin's. From there we headed to the airport.* I'll write a more detailed post later. Starting tomorrow, I will blog daily about my trip!
*If I had forgotten one thing I might've just picked it up on my next trip, but they were three essential pieces of clothing (pants, skirt, and bra).
It feels great being home and I'm so glad we got into the habit of cleaning before traveling. I used to dread coming home because I'd return to a stinky mess. The apartment was musty because the cat-sitter had closed all of the windows, but otherwise it was still clean and tidy! (Well, not anymore lol.) I'm still in love with my organized bathroom! That helped motivate me to shower off the travel germs.
I'll finish unpacking tomorrow and will just rest up tonight. Maybe I'll even wake up early. I have a lot of catching up to do, so I will need to write some accountability notes this week.
