WEEK 25

Writing in English today because I'm still writing my travelogs in between, so it's difficult/tiring to switch languages. We are currently experiencing a heat wave so it is HOT. I've been staying indoors as much as I can since I am prone to heat exhaustion.

Travelogs

I've been writing everyday about my trip since I've returned. However, these posts are time-consuming because I also edit pictures in between each "section," so I've decided to spread out the writing over 1-3 days so I can do other things, too.

That way, it will still be fun and feel less like work. And I don't want that to happen, because I enjoy documenting! There are way more pictures compared to previous travelogs I've written because I went to so many museums.

Arts and crafts

I bought some frames and mattes at HEMA and since then, I've been obsessed with trying to frame stuff for my crappy gallery wall in the hallway. (It's mostly just pictures and drawings stuck to the wall with blue tack.) I posted some of my watercolor mattes in my NOTES.

I also learned that I actually do enjoy the process of watercoloring if the end result has a purpose. I've been having so much fun painting checkered grids. I thought about it, and even as a kid, I had the most fun crafting on objects, like a construction paper mosaic tiles on a wooden box or painting a flower pot. HMM...

Getting back on track

Ugh, so the most important thing this coming week is to organize my life. I haven't applied to any jobs at all nor paid some of my bills for the month. There's a lot to do this week, so I'm going to create a plan/schedule. I don't think I'll blog about it this time because I'm prioritizing the travel posts.

† I'm back to playing it everyday since Wednesday.

There's just so many things to do and not enough time nor energy! (Nor focus...)
